  • Hillbilly Holler

    Jed Elshant falls in love with rural Tennessee after moving onto a picturesque street. He’s quick to make friends with his new neighbors- longtime residents Robin and Charlie Hill on one side, and Cody and Amanda Massengill on the other. Yet as he settles in, Jed is put off by the wrecked cars and general unsightliness of his neighbor’s property. After acquiring a land survey, Jed sets out to clean mess he believes falls within his property lines. Meanwhile,  the Hills and Massengills vehemently deny the claims of his survey. The ensuing conflict is vicious and unrelenting, with all three parties using extensive cell phone recordings to document the dispute. Threats are made, property is destroyed, and finally shocking violence erupts when one of the combatants is pushed too far.

But when the Voits get a dog of their own, and one of the Atkins’ goats is found dead, patriarch Ray Atkins contends the Voits’ dog is the culprit. The Voits hotly deny it. Later, a shot rings out in the middle of the night and the Voit pet goes missing. Howls of accusations and denial fly across property lines. A war between households has begun, and it won’t end until heinous crimes against more animals are committed and guns are drawn to settle the conflict once and for all.

But as new neighbor Lisa McCully gets close to Gabriel, a much darker and dangerous side of him emerges, and soon the whole community is living in terror of him. Tragically, their fears are justified when his criminal enterprise falls apart and an unfathomable mass murder spree is unleashed.

As the complaints go on, they come to realize that Michael Hetle may be the cause... Tensions escalate between the neighbors and only get worse when Janelle marries and her new husband, Javon Prather, who soon finds himself immersed in the conflict with Michael. The battle intensifies until reaching its bloody end with a shocking murder caught entirely on home video.
